Mrs. Doyle’s prides itself on being the only “real” Irish pub in Magaluf. It overtly looks down upon the homogenous Spanish-owned Irish pubs, which they claim can never offer you the authentic Irish environment Mrs. Doyle’s can.
Way back in 1997 the pub opened its doors under the helm of Mick “The Fiddler” Cormican. It soon became the place famous for its real Irish air, complete with warmth, music and quality drinks. The keyword to remember about Mrs. Doyle’s is “Irish!” The place is owned and run by an Irishman, its live music pub has a strong Celtic flavour and the place throws the best St. Patrick’s Day party in Magaluf! GAA games along with all other major sports are broadcast live, on a big screen. The pub’s terrace is large and a pool table is available for people to shoot a game. Branded spirits are offered at reasonable rates.
Live entertainment, here, is unique and provided by Mick himself. He mixes things up with his fiddle, banjo, guitar and piano. He can also carry a tune with ease. Expect the most popular Irish songs with popular rock, pop and country hits thrown in for good measure. Guest singers and musicians also grace the place regularly. And to complement the live performances you have karaoke and disco. So go ahead, pick up the mike and give Mick a run for his money.
