Quick Magaluf Rundown

Magaluf is without a doubt the party capital of Majorca with a selection of dance clubs and music bars which will suit individual tastes. The town also has a amazing beach with golden sand that is the best on the island and a variety water sports to keep you busy during the day. From para-sailing to the banana boat theres loads to choose from.

BCM is the largest dance club in Magaluf and has three floors, this is a popular club which regularly attracts some of the top DJs. The lower level, known as the BCM Millennium, is the site of enormous pop corn and foam parties, be ready to get wet and sticky on that level. ;) The upper level is known for its amazing laser and light shows and of course the best dancers. The middle level usually attracts the older holiday makers that aren’t as much into the partying as the young ones. As well as BCM there are other clubs in Magaluf which include the Boomerang, Bananas, Tokio Joes.

There are two Water Parks in Magaluf within a short distance of the town, the oldest of which is Aqualand Magaluf, with some exciting water flumes and chutes like the Kamikaze, the Tornado and the Black Hole. Across from there you will find the Western Water Park with Wild West themed attractions like the Wild River, the Big Hole and the Tornado. The main attraction of the Western Water Park has to be the 850 foot long Mega Slide.
All in all Magaluf is one of thee places for your summer holiday if your looking for loads of fun, mischief and some of the best memory’s that you’ll ever have.

Let me know what you think of Magaluf, leave your comments below.  :D

Mallorca Markets

There are loads of markets across Mallorca, in fact it is hard to find a town that doesn’t actually host a weekly market of some kind! This is great news for you as it means that no matter what day you arrive (or what day you need a break from partying), you will always be able to visit a market.

The markets will have everything from fresh fruit and veg to clothes and shoes but most of the best markets are located outside of the tourist areas so you will need to travel a little bit.

Nudist (Naturist) Beaches in Mallorca

Looking to let it all hang out on holiday? Perhaps you need to just get rid of the “white bits”? Or maybe you just feel like clothes are the modern day prisons?

What ever your reason rest assured that Mallorca has heard your cries and created a range of nudist (or naturist) beaches across the sunny island.

Here is a list of Mallorca nudist beaches for you:

Cala Bafri near Porto Colom

Cala Bella Dona near Calvià

Caló d´en Rafalino near Porto Cristo

Cala Es Canyaret near Llucalcari

Cala Sa Mesquida – The nudist section is on the right hand side of the beach.

Cala Molto near Capdepera,  Arta

Cala Petita near Porto Cristo

Cala S´Almunia near Santayí

Cala Torta -Arta

Cala Varques near Porto Cristo – This nudist beach is difficult to reach by road and is much easier walking to.

Es Caló des Monjo / Cala Monjo – This is an official nudist beach but for some reason there are not always that many nudists.

Llucalcari. near Es Canyaret (Deia) – You may experience problems parking for this beach.

Playa Bella Dona

Playa Caló des Monjo near Calvià

Playa Coll Baix near Alcúdia

Playa des Dic (del Dique del Oeste o d´es Grell)

Playa Es Caragol, faro del cabo Punta Salinas – There are no nudists using this beach in August.

Playa Es Pregons Grans – This is between Colonia de San Jordi and Es Trenc beach.

Playa “El Mago” – This is another official nudist beach and it gets very busy.

Playa “Es Trenc” -  This is an official naturist beach. The beach is very large and nudists generally occupy the middle of the beach but be warned it is mixed use, especially on Sundays.

Playa Sa Canova - The nudist section is to the right hand side of Son Serra de Marina

Playa Son Real – The nudist section is to the left of nautico club – Son Serra de Marina.

S’Arenal de Sa Rapita – This is close to Ses Covetes.

Popcorn party at Millenium!

They are rare, but they are fun!!

Once in a while, the downstairs club of Bcm, also called Millenium, will throw a full-on Popcorn Party with everything included..  And you will probably not believe this, but most of the popcorns gets eaten before the night is over!

It’s pure fun and crazy, and people are sticking those corns up and in EVERYWHERE possible.

We don’t want to talk about cleaning up afterward, but it’s a fact that about 200 kg. of popcorns, made in advance, gets thrown out on the dancefloor and in the faces of people.. And everybody loves it!

So, the next time you visit Magaluf, you better check up with the Bcm homepage calendar, to see when the next Popcorn Party will come about..  It’s worth a visit, for sure..!
