Today Magaluf is a thriving purpose built resort which attracts thousands of tourists every summer. However it has not always been such a hive of activity. It was not until the decade of ‘mass tourism’ that Magaluf became the bustling resort it is today. It is now a slick holiday destination which offers a range of attractions and facilities to suit all age groups and tastes.

Because of the very mild winters, Magaluf is popular throughout the year. In the summer it is the 18-30 year olds that visit in small or large groups as well as young couples and young families. They visit for the party atmosphere that Magaluf and Palma Nova have become famous for. It is during the winter months when the resort quietens down that an older clientele  is drawn to the island of Majorca and even the resort of Magaluf for it’s fine sanded beaches.
